Make Them Feel Special: Lunchbox Notes
When your little one is away at daycare or in the care of someone else its nice to let them know you are thinking of them with a wee note of love. Your message needn't be elaborate, 'Mummy/Daddy loves you..' or well wishes such as, 'Have a fun day!' is all it take to make a child feel supported and very special indeed. You can make your notes humorous by sharing a mutually funny joke, or educational by helping the younger child to learn to read new words. Draw a funny doodle. Older children might enjoy more motivational notes such as wishing them well on an upcoming test or sporting event.

Lunchbox notes aren't just limited to the lunchbox either. Stick one on your preschooler's sunhat or sheet set for daycare nap-time. Tuck one in your child's school books or their gym bag. Write a kind note before bed and leave it on your son or daughter's pillow. Give hubby a little confidence boost and stick one in his briefcase or diary. The possibilities are endless.
